"Budweiser Made in America" continues to gain accolades. In the print edition that just hit newsstands, the festival made Billboard's "top 5 branding stories of 2012." Budweiser also was included in a Billboard round-up of "10 brands to watch in 2013" – a feature on integral forces in the music industry. The story included Chevrolet, Converse, Pepsi, Coke and other major brands. Budweiser was the only alcohol brand listed. Wrote the magazine: "The brand's inaugural Made In America festival, headlined and curated by Jay-Z, was a success — the two-day event grossed $5 million in ticket sales with over 78,000 in attendance, according to Billboard BoxScore." The magazine also mentioned Bud Light's renewed deal with Pitbull and its "deeper dive into digital music sponsorships." Earlier this year POLLSTAR Magazine, a leading music industry publication, announced that Budweiser Made in America had been nominated in the category of "Major Music Festival" at the upcoming Pollstar Concert Industry Awards show. This is a prestigious industry award, especially for a festival's inaugural year. Other nominees include Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits.
