Earth Day Recycling Promotion 2014

 Why celebrate one or two days when you can celebrate all week long! This year, G & M Distributors' recycling center will be holding its annual Earth Day promotion for an entire week – Monday, April 21, through Saturday, April 26, offering an additional 5¢ per pound bonus on aluminum cans recycled.

During the week long promotion, G & M will also donate 1¢ per pound of aluminum cans recycled to Knox College's Sustainability Task Force. The Knox College Sustainability Task Force reflects Knox's commitment to sustainable living on campus and off. Comprised of students, faculty, and staff, the Task Force helps identify, encourage, and support environmentally friendly best practices in the college's educational programs, institutional and social structures, and economic actions. Recycle your aluminum beverage cans and earn cash on the spot while saving the environment too! Hours of operation during the promotion will be from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
