Memorial Day - Enjoy a Cold Beer!

Wow, it's Memorial Day already. We all know that Memorial Day is viewed as the beginning of the Summer Season around the U.S. Swimming pools open, schools close for the Summer, and the barbeque season ramps up. This weekend is all about beer, barbeque, and burgers (the three B's) as America celebrates with its favorite beverage and favorite foods.

A 2012 Weber survey revealed that nearly three-fourths of American grill owners fire up their grills on Memorial Day. And what are the favorite foods that are grilled? The Weber survey says that burgers come in #1 at 73%, followed by chicken at 41% and steak at 40%. I found it hard to believe hot dogs didn't fall in the top three.

What better way to wash it down than with a cold beer! A cold Budweiser, Busch, or Old Milwaukee will always do the trick, but one of the best beers for barbeque, especially ribs, is Shiner Bock.
