Whether your 4th of July plans call for picnics, parties or a day on the water, when alcohol is involved, do whatever it takes to get home safely. Call a friend, arrange for a cab or designate a driver.
As a DD, you'll join the millions of American adults who have been a designated driver or have been driven home by one. Drunk-driving and alcohol-related boating fatalities are 100 percent preventable, and we can all do our part.
