G&M Distributors, Inc. Joins Anheuser-Busch to Raise Awareness about Water Conservation on June 5, World Environment Day
On World Environment Day, G&M Distributors, Inc., Galesburg, is joining Anheuser-Busch and other organizations to draw attention to environmental issues and solutions in the United States and around the globe.
Friday, June 5, G&M employees will be showing its support by helping to clean up litter around the lake at Lake Storey Park and will be planting trees within the park. Employees have also pledged to conserve water by shortening their showers, brushing their teeth using less water, and by skipping shaving this week.
Around the world, women and children spend 140 million hours per day collecting water. On June 5 (World Environment Day), thousands of Anheuser-Busch employees will put themselves in these people's shoes to do a Walk for Water. For every 15-minute
