Anheuser-Busch will be opening a new biergarten at its St. Louis Brewery. The biergarten will be adjacent to the brewery's tour center at 12th and Lynch Streets, and will be open to the public by mid-summer. Construction is scheduled to begin in May. The new biergarten will be a celebration of beer and food, and will serve an exceptional variety of Anheuser-Busch beers, including 17 on draught. The facility will also feature special beer tastings, including a special Brewmaster's Tasting every day at 3 p.m. – the same time Anheuser-Busch brewmasters from around the country taste beer each day to make sure it is of the highest quality and consistency. Guests will learn about beer styles, how to pour and present beer and how to properly pair beer with food. Food options will include a limited menu initially, with a full menu featuring grilled meats, small sandwiches and other light fare to be offered later this year. Adding to the educational experience, all beer will be served in appropriate glassware for its beer style, and other books and merchandise will be available to purchase. Guests will be able to enjoy the biergarten before or after brewery tours or any time during operating hours. There will be no charge for admission, and the facility will be open until early evening. Specific hours of operation and other details will be announced soon.
